Capture the night
The Brief—
Create an experience that shows off the quality of Canon’s new camera range at low-light and fits with their ‘Come and see’ campaign featuring urban deer.
The Idea—
We gave people the chance to use a new camera to capture our own urban deer that were custom-painted by Graffiti Life and placed on the streets of East London. A Canon crate contained the whole Canon range along with a shooting platform and shop.
Role: Concept / Creative Direction
The idea also extended to shopping centres with a version that came complete with a dark room experience that bought the outside indoors.
Canon experts were on hand to show people how to shoot in low-level lighting conditions. People could also share their pictures on Canon’s social media channels using Canon’s sharing app.
Both experiences were created for the run-up to Christmas to increase sales and promote their yearly cash-back deals.
