Mint Revolution Letterpress Prints
The brief—
Create some posters advertising Havana Club as the Cuban rum that’s used to make authentic hand-made cocktails.
The idea—
If we’re being authentic about crafting and making things by hand, then this must also be true of our advertising.
Role: Concept / Art Direction / Writing
A set of letterpress posters were designed, set and printed by hand in collaboration with typographer and print-maker, Mr Smith.
The prints were used in bars across London who don’t usually like to use advertising from brands. However, given the quality of the design and printing, the posters were still in bars a number of years after the advertising campaign had finished.
The prints won a number of awards for art direction along with the grand prix at both the Event and IPM Awards.
